1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the website at afecloudpro.online (“this website”), which is operated by Hikoki Publications Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. By visiting this website or signing in to it you accept these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of them.

2. What these terms do not cover

AFE Cloud Pro is provided to flying schools under a separate signed agreement between us and the school. That agreement governs the service itself — what is supplied, fees, terms of payment, service levels, support, data ownership, confidentiality, duration and termination. Nothing on this page varies, replaces or adds to it, and if anything here conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement prevails.

Likewise, if you are a member of a flying school, your lessons, bookings, prices, cancellations and refunds are matters between you and your school under its own terms. We provide the website the school uses; we are not party to your arrangement with it.

3. Access to this website

Access is provided free of charge and on an “as available” basis. Most of this website requires an account, which is issued through a flying school that holds an agreement with us. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website, and we may restrict access to all or part of it.

4. Your account and credentials

• Your sign-in details are personal to you. Do not share them or let anyone else use your account.
• Keep your password confidential and tell us immediately if you believe it has been compromised.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account until you notify us.
• Information you enter must be accurate and must be information you are entitled to provide.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use this website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, or to impersonate anyone;
• upload or transmit anything unlawful, infringing, or containing malicious code;
• attempt to access accounts, data or areas of the website you are not authorised to use;
• probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the website or its infrastructure, or circumvent any security or authentication measure;
• use automated means to scrape, copy, harvest or overload the website, or otherwise interfere with its operation or with other users' use of it;
• reproduce, distribute or resell any part of the website.

We may suspend or withdraw access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

6. Information on this website

Content on this website is provided for general information and for operating the service. Figures the website displays — including totals, currency and recency indications, licence progress and revalidation criteria — are calculated from data entered by users, as an aid to record-keeping. They are not a statement of the applicable regulations and not a substitute for the judgement of a licensed instructor or examiner. You remain responsible for your own records and for meeting the requirements that apply to you, and should verify anything you rely on against the official rules.

7. Intellectual property

This website, its software, design, text and graphics belong to Hikoki Publications Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. You may use them only as needed to use the website for its intended purpose. Records and content entered by a school or its members remain theirs, as set out in the relevant agreement.

8. Links to other sites

Where this website links to a third-party site, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its handling of your data.

9. Availability and liability

We take reasonable care over this website but do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free from error. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and without affecting any signed agreement, we are not liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, or for any loss arising from reliance on a figure shown by the website contrary to section 6.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use this website after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about this website. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
